Refore it was discovered that hops were preservative and spice, all types of fruits, herbs and other seasonings were used to flavour the wort of barley and wheat.


With a moderate and favourable climate, Lincolnshire is famous for fresh fruit. It is fitting that Melbourn Bros. has chosen this pastoral area to reintroduce the art of blending strawberries, apricots, cherries and their juice to make delicious fruit beers.
